Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I visit the dentist?
Our team and the American Dental Association recommend that patients visit the dentist at least two times each year. These six-month checkups give our team the opportunity to screen for common oral health issues and diagnose and treat dental damage and decay in the earliest stages.
Can I bring my kids to your office?
We welcome families to visit our practice, and that means kids too! We’re happy to offer care for patients from the eruption of their first tooth. In rare cases, we may recommend your child visit a pediatric specialist, but we are typically able to care for patients their entire lives.
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are small, titanium implant posts that replace the root structure of lost teeth offering optimal stability and support for tooth replacement solutions.
Does teeth whitening work?
Professional teeth whitening offers results up to ten shades brighter for most patients. Unlike store bought whitening products, our professional-grade whiteners are able to predictably offer dramatic results.
May I contact you during dental emergencies?
Absolutely. We’re here whenever our patients need us. Contact our regular office number, and follow the instructions to reach us after hours. We offer same day treatment in most cases, and we walk patients through first aid steps to keep them safe until they reach our office.
Do wisdom teeth always need to be extracted?
Not always, but these are the most frequently extracted teeth. As they are the last to erupt into patients’ smiles, there is often inadequate space for them within the jawline. We carefully track the development of this third set of molars and make recommendations for extraction early in many cases.
Do you take my insurance?
We’re happy to process and file claims for any dental benefits, and we are in-network providers for many of the major PPO insurance plans.
